BSE’s involvement

Appointed at the early stages of the project as MEP Consultants, BSE have developed the detailed design of all the MEP services in close collaboration with the appointed Architects, Structural Engineers, Interior Designers as well as the client and operator.

The services provided included

  • The coordination of the provision of supplies and upgrading of the electrical network required to serve the development
  • The provision of services design for all installations related to the Mechanical, Electrical, Extra Low Voltage and Public Health systems
  • The provision of services design for specialized installations such as Fire Fighting Lifts, MATV system, Nurse Call System, and medical installations.
  • Issuing of Tender Documentation and Evaluation of all Bids received, as well as assisting the client during negotiation stage.
  • Coordination, supervision and site management for all MEP installations during ongoing works.
  • Quantity surveying of all MEP works carried out.
  • Certification of MEP installations.

Project Timeframe and deliverables

The MEP services have been implemented hand in hand with the finishing works and have been completed in a period of 9 months delivering a high quality residential care home for elderly people. The Home has been regarded as a benchmark for homes for the Elderly in the private sector.

The development provides home to 109 residents and provides various amenities for its residents.
